As a teenager, Mr. Andre Pridgen sampled three different martial arts styles – Kung Fu, Kenpo Karate and Tae Kwon Do, but as an adult he settled for one – Kenpo Karate. Under Mr. Joe Palanzo, Mr. Pridgen first developed his love for Kenpo as well as his love for teaching. His accomplishments in Kenpo include: earning a 1st degree in 1995, becoming a member of the WKKA and Kenpo Tigers fighting teams, and earning his 2nd, 3rd and 4th degree Black Belts by 2004. Mr. Pridgen is committed to the excellence of Kenpo Karate and its principles as well as to the many studentsMr. Andre Pridgen he teaches.
